Are you 60 years or older
and of Asian ancestry?

The Asian Cohort for Alzheimer’s Disease
invites you to join us in our research to find out more about Alzheimer’s disease, what causes it, and how we might prevent it for future generations.

You might be eligible for our study

The first phase of ACAD focuses on Asian Americans and Canadians of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese ancestry.

We are looking for participants who are 60 years older with or without cognitive issues. Our research staff will then interview and assess you for eligibility to enroll in the study.

ACAD has eight recruitment areas in the United States and Canada.

We collaborate with local community health providers and organizers to recruit participants.

Why ACAD?

Asians are among the fastest growing populations in the United States and Canada, yet they are underrepresented in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)research.

ACAD is an international collaboration to study the impact of lifestyle and genetic factors on AD risk in Asian Americans and Canadians.
